The housing support Mencap provides is individually tailored to meet specific needs.
We recognise that while some people like to live on their own, others like to live with other people. With this in mind we help people to rent or buy their own homes. Should a person wish to live in a shared living arrangement we will also ensure that their needs and the needs of anybody else we may support are catered for individually.
Accommodation finder
Our new accommodation finder allows you to search online for Mencap's housing vacancies for people with a learning disability across England. The finder gives you quick and easy access to details of all our current residential and supported living vacancies.
Adult placement
Our adult family placement schemes allow a person with a learning disability to live with and become part of a family, and can provide an alternative to residential care or other types of supported living.
Golden Lane Housing
Golden Lane Housing provides high quality homes that suits the needs of individuals with a learning disability, from individual and shared housing to supported living and respite accommodation.
