At Mencap we believe every person with a learning disability should have the chance to get a job.

Our jobs and training services enable people with a learning disability to develop the skills they need for the workplace. We support people to find, and stay, in employment, and to make the most of their experiences as employees.

Mencap also supports businesses to employ people with a learning disability, to make sure they provide the right support and benefit from having a truly diverse workforce.  

Mencap Advance - preparing for work

Mencap Advance supports people with a learning disability to develop the skills they need to make the most of their experiences in the workplace.

Mencap Pathway - getting and keeping a job

Mencap Pathway work with people with a learning disability to help them find the right job, based on their skills, needs and individual preferences.

Derbyshire Progression to Work

Our employment scheme supports people aged 19 or over in Derbyshire to access employment opportunities.

WorkRight - Information for employers

The WorkRight scheme supports businesses to employ people with a learning disability, and to make sure their organisation is accessible and supportive.
