Paul gets his own place

Paul from Bromborough in the Wirral's life changed when Golden Lane Housing helped him to get a home of his own.

"I couldn't believe it when Golden Lane Housing told me I could look for a place of my own, I was on cloud 9. After finding the house there was some work done on it before I could move in. They dealt with it all quickly and they are always there if I ever need help. I remember getting the keys at 9am and I had moved in by 11am!  I am really happy here and it's so quiet.

"Now I can do things when I want to. I have my friends over and sometimes I cook for them. I've got a chart on the wall that shows me what foods are healthy. 

"I also go to the Adult Training Centre where we teach different departments in the local hospital about learning disabilities through drama. We also have meetings and we take it in turn to do the minutes. And I've just started a new college course."
